•  Gojo Satoru from Jujutsu Kaisen

Satoru Gojo (五ご条じょう悟さとる, Gojō Satoru) is the main leading character of the Jujutsu Kaisen series. Another powerful enemy of the King of Curse: is Sukuna. He worked as a special grade Jujutsu Sorcerer Teacher in Tokyo Jujutsu High, guiding young allies to be better.

Satoru is the first person to inherit both the Limitless and the Six Eyes in the four hundred years of the Gojo Clan. Overconfident about his powers and dies in a fight with Sukana (in the manga, anime hasn’t reached this end yet).

• Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece

Monkey D. Luffy is inspired by pirate “Red-Haired” Shanks, who helped him to eat the Devil Fruit that turned his body into rubber. Shanks also sacrificed an arm to save his life and gifted his signature straw hat as a symbol of their promise to reunite someday. Luffy became “Straw Hat Luffy” or “Straw Hat”.

After that Luffy became a great pirate, growing his empire to a bounty of Beli 3,000,000,000. Among fans, he is known for his loyalty, goofiness, and trademark smile. Moreover, can cross any limit to save his close people. This makes Luffy, an all-time favorite character of the anime world.

• Denji from Chainsaw Man

Denji (デンジ, Denji) is the main protagonist of the series. His story revolves around repaying his father’s debut from the Yakuza. To clear this debt, he meets Pochita and becomes a Devil Hunter for the Yakuza. Once Yakuza is possessed by the devil, he betrays Denji and killed him. Interesting!!

Here, comes the twist: Pochita becomes Denji’s heart and revives as Chainsaw Man (チェンソーマン, Chensō Man). Moving on to the further story, he was found a Public Safety Devil Hunter, Makima. Offers a job at  Tokyo Special Division 4 as a Public Safety Devil Hunter. Later, Denji discovers how manipulative the motive Makima has for his Chainsaw Devil.

Eventually, Makima was killed by Chainsaw Man and he enrolled in Fourth East High School as a student. He is starting to live his dream of a normal life with his adoptive brother of Makima’s reincarnation, Nayuta.

• Tanjiro Kamado from Demon Slayer

Tanjiro Kamado (竈門かまど 炭たん治じ郎ろう, Kamado Tanjirō) is called as ‘Ray of Hope in Dusk’ by its fans. He is known for his corporate bond with her younger sister Nezuko Kamado. Tanjiro is the main leading character of the series, who joins the Demon Slayer Corps to heal her sister after his whole family is destroyed by Muzan Kibutsuji’s demon.

Initially, he works as a coal burner, to fulfill the needs of his family but after the death of his family by a demon. His devotion to saving his sole sister turned him into a Master Demon Slayer (with a lot of Hashira’s trust and hard work). But the trauma of losing his family, made him mentally mature at the very early age of 13, also this mental maturity differentiated him from other Slayers.

• Nezuko Kamado from Demon Slayer

Nezuko Kamado (竈門かまど 禰ね豆ず子こ, Kamado Nezuko) is one of the important characters of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba series. She is a delightful combination of the wild imagination of a human and a demon in one. Despite not being a member of the Twelve Kizuki, Nezuko is a very powerful demon. Her most prominent trait is her extraordinary growth rate, due to the high amount of blood she received from Muzan Kibutsuji when he turned Nezuko into a demon.

Her love for his oldest brother Tanjiro Kamado, is her motivation to control the urge to eat human flesh and blood, not transformed into an evil puppet of Muzan Kibutsuji. Nezuko has been seen telling herself, “Humans are to be protected and saved… I will never hurt them.” While other demons tend to eat humans for their recovery, Nezuko takes a deep sleep to recover and control her demonic urge.

However, after the period of hibernation, Nezu overcame the biggest fear of demons: Broadday light, which eventually make Muzan crazy about her abilities. As the recent season Hashira Training Arc, ended with a crazy twist of Ubuyashiki’s sacrifice with his family to weaken Muzan with explosives and spikes, preparing for Hashira’s arrival for the ultimate fight, created an overwhelming curiosity in fans for the upcoming arc.

• Mikasa Ackerman from Attack on Titans

Mikasa Ackermann (ミカサ・アッカーマン Mikasa Akkāman) is a symbol of a powerful modern world woman, a sole descendant of the Shogun clan and owns significant political power in Hizuru. After the demise of her beloved parents on Paradis Island, she was saved by her close ally Eren Jaeger from bandits.

Afterward, she started living with him and his parents. As they grow up together, her motivation for survival is to protect Eren from every possible danger. Later on, Mikasa followed him in the military academy the 104th Cadet Corps, and further joined the Scout Regiment.

But her relationship is a pure depiction of loyalty turned into heart-wrenching love. In the end, she killed Eren ( Eren killed a massive army of Colossal Titans to eradicate humanity on Paradis Island ). Her story is a fascinating blend of loyalty, love, sacrifice, and inner strength.

• Yor Forger from Spy × Family

Yor Forger (ヨル・フォージャー, Yoru Fōjā), like any other female lead in the series, played multiple roles and with due respect called many names. Such as Sis (姉さん, Nee-san) (by Yuri Briar), Mama (はは, Haha?) (by Anya Forger), and Thorn Princess (いばら姫, Ibara-hime) (Assassin code name).

She is one the anime characters that easily resonates with reality like the concept of lacking skills of traditional motherhood: Cooking. While working as a clerk at Berlin City Hall, she found Loid Forger and under the circumstances both got married. Every character in the series is dealing with double life scenarios, which Yor is dealing with effortlessly.

Nobara Kugisaki (釘くぎ崎さき野の薔ば薇ら, Kugisaki Nobara) is a strong-willed and unshakeable character in Jujutsu Kaisen series. She holds the title of Grade 3 jujutsu sorcerer while studying at Tokyo Jujutsu High as a first-year student. She is a junior at the school, of Satoro Gojo alongside Yuji and Megumi.

Nobara follows the philosophy of “It’s to stay true to myself.” With time, she made a place for herself in the school. She might seem a masculine personality because of her attitude but she dearly loves Yuji (who died in the Detention Center incident). Both were called class clowns in the first year of school.

Moreover, Nobara had a solid understanding of how to exorcise curses with her innate technique, before coming into Jujutsu High. But also, lacking in physical ability in Maki helped her with combat training. It led to the capacity to fight on even terms with Eso and Kechizu. Eventually destroyed Mahito with Black Flash Energy.

• Miyo Saimori from Happy Marriage

Miyo Saimori (斎森 美世, Saimori Miyo) is a 19 year low-esteemed, delicate girl who was abused by her stepmom and stepsister Kaya for not having supernatural power. But later with time, Mito discovered her special or unique Usuba Gift of Dream-sight and ability to control the minds of people.

Her Gift is sealed by her mother Sumi Usuba in the cherry blossom tree for fear that she would get exploited. Things turned the opposite, making her a timid girl with a lack of awareness of self-worth. Furthermore, it’s a saying: ” Night is there then there will be a day tomorrow “, following this idiom Miyo’s life changed after her father Shinichi Saimori engaged her with Kiyoka Kudou.

Kiyoka, light the lamp of positivity in Miyo’s darkest world and let her know her worth. The good news for this power couple lovers that is, soon in January 2025, Kinema Citrus will launch its Season 2.
