At that moment, Persephone reveals that she tried to destroy the pillar that was holding the world by releasing Titan Atlas. She says that the reason for doing this is Zeus having her marry Hades and putting her in their underworld as the Queen of Death. Kratos becomes angry when he is told that with the piller destroyed, he will no longer be able to be with his daughter. As Persephone was leaving to destroy the piller, Kratos chased her and as Helios fell down the piller, he killed her. Leaving Atlas, forced to carry the piller in his soldiers.
