This discomfort had to be suffered by the actors while they had to keep on shooting the scene that became much more real this way. ‘We just shot all the scenes with s*x elements in one day,’ Powell said. “Our skin is peeling, mid s*x, very, very raw s*x scene, very, very real and not on purpose.” The actors were very realistic in their portrayal of the characters on screen, making the movie rather real and hence successful.

The Effects of Hit Man and Creeping Talk of a Sequel

All that hard work done by Powell and Arjona did not pass unnoticed by everyone at the organization. The film “Hit Man” was well received among both critics and audiences, especially the two lead actors, who were applauded as among the biggest assets of the movie. The movie has a steadily high score of 93% on Rotten Tomatoes critics and 97% for the viewers, which places this film among the leaders among Netflix films.

When asked if there are plans for a sequel, Linklater said, ‘It’s a little too new. No one has seen this movie yet, so I don’t know. Yeah, who knows, but nothing jumped out. We were happy and felt like we told that story of those boys.’

Still, Linklater did say that he liked working with Powell and, effectively, left the door open for a sequel. The two have collaborated on four films thus far, and this contributes to the conclusion that the two could come back to work on another project in the near future; it might be “Hit Man 2” or another movie all together.
