Why Were Fans Disappointed?

Tasuketsu -Fate of the Majority anime series released on July 3, 2024.

Firstly, the characters are not the same as in the manga. The latter’s MCs (Main Character) has a pair of close friends who know each other and trust each other. However, the anime is centered around Sanaetsu and Saaya who barely know each other. Fans consequently expressed their opinions regarding the lack of plot and substance in the first episode.

There’s a lot of information dumped in this first episode, and there are a lot of mysteries that are still unanswered, some of which are explicitly pointed out.

As you can see, readers of the manga were disappointed with how the story was portrayed. The character writing was “clunky” and the narrative is confusing. You are left with many unanswered questions as the narrative is very confusing. Unlikely characters were eliminated without any explanations.

According to viewers, death game animes are not often well-made. So, the pilot of any death game animated series should give a considerable amount of hints to the backdrop of the story. It should answer questions like : What, How, When and Why? But this anime evidently fails to do so as fans found the 20 minute episode growing more incoherent and annoying one scene after another. Moreover, it is willfully unable to define the rules of the ‘Death Match’.
