Spider-Man 4 has been in discussions since 2023, and it’s been more than a year. Yet, most of the questions are not answered officially, so to satisfy fan theories. I’m going to make a guess over Peter Parker’s Love of Life: Mary Jane Watson. Is Zendaya going to return as MJ, or will a new female be introduced shortly?

The Mystery Surrounding Spider-Man 4’s Female Lead
After the blockbuster success of Spiderman: No Way Home, every spidy fan is eager to know what’s next for Peter Parker in his Spiderman Universe. For now, Marvel Studios and Sony Entertainment have not given any official statement for the female lead in Spider-Man 4. So, the only suspect that comes under this is : Zendaya.
Zendaya is one of the most cherished May Jane Watson ( MJ ) in the Spiderman series. She moved the traditional MJ ” damsel in distress “ role to ones’ deeply rooted in emotions. Recently, she was featured in Dune: Part Two. Her extravagant performance uplifted the character Chani. What do you think Zendaya being MJ in the upcoming movie would resolve the consequences of Spiderman: No Way Home?
Will Zendaya Return?
If Zendaya return, then she is going to play the most prominent role in the whole movie, because in last season, everybody forgot about Spiderman? No one knows this type of creature ever existed. Moving further, Peter Parker or his real world counterpart Tom Holland, is confirmed to be a part of Spiderman 4.
Now the excited part is, will Peter get entangled with Marry Jane in Spiderman 4 or will Peter find new love intersect. Whatever, the situation would be, hope for the red string thread of destiny, rejuvenate the love between Parker and Jane.

Moreover, this masterpiece is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton. The production of series will begin next year, 2025, in the month of May. The relationship between Black Cat and Spiderman is somehow romantic or healthy flirt, but now that MJ doesn’t know about Peter, chances of this relationship may be fruitful.

What We Know So Far
Although the details about the cast are still a secret, we can confirm that Spider-Man 4 will pick up the story of Peter Parker played by Tom Holland. The last part of the previous movie: No Way Home, was very emotional and dramatic, especially when Peter decided to remove all the memories of him from everybody, making him even more lonely.
That opens up a very interesting narrative avenue for the upcoming film since Peter will have to figure out his day to day activities without his usual entourage: MJ, Ned, and even other spider men from other dimensions.
Nevertheless, surprises are synonymous with Marvel, so the return of Zendaya or the emergence of another strong female figure could very well propel Peter’s next quest.
