Recently, Lewis Pullman, from Thunderbolts, shared some surprising insights of the upcoming film and referred to it as “really grounded,” and “stylish.” He stated that the movie does have signature elements of Marvel but introduces a twist, hence a unique yet down-to-earth experience. It is going to released on May 2, 2025 in United States, as the last film of Phase Five of the MCU.

His passion about the team and the strategy of the film has undoubtedly provoked discussions, and today this beats the meaning for a Marvel enthusiast who has been following the MCU line and can’t wait for the next sequel in the series.

Thunderbolts: What to Expect?

Marvel has historically enjoyed making comic book figures into live-action. Pullman’s assertion that the film is “grounded”, surely suggest lack of fantasy elements seen in the previous MCU movies. Why Thunderbolts is Different

The Thunderbolts movie is quite different and unique as it is venturing into a team that does not follow the traditional way of the heroic journey. For instance, unlike the Avengers, the Thunderbolts undertake their first mission in the counterfeit world of deception, betrayal, and quite often doing evil things for justifiable causes.

The moral complexity in such foundations establishes ample room for discussing issues of redemption and allegiance, which are darker than what is portrayed in the very many franchises by Marvel.
