Beauty and the Beast is one of the most beloved Disney movies, and was released in 1991. The movie is based on a magical fairy tale romance by Jeanne-Marie Leprine de Beaumont. The story revolves around an egotistical king who likes to party and thinks very highly of himself. One night a beggar woman arrived at his castle and asked for something. The king laughed at her and made fun of her appearance. Filled with rage, the beggar woman cursed the king and transformed him into an ugly beast. For the curse to be broken, the king must learn how to love someone and also earn the love of the person before the last petal of the rose falls. In a neighborhood village, a girl named Belle discovers that her father has been held captive in the castle. Immediately she swaps places with her daughter. When Belle meets the beast for the first time, he insults her and shows no hospitality. Gradually they form a friendship that turns into love!!

The movie ends with the message that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. If we fall in love with someone, it should be because of their heart and not their appearance. Belle made the king realize his mistake. This romantic Disney movie remains a message and lesson to those who are very fond of themselves and show no empathy towards others.

This movie is such a good animated movie with a lot of important dialogues and scenes. It tells us that no matter what, two people in love can’t be broken. Ariel had a lot of dreams but she was very stuck up to follow her one most important dream, becoming a human. In the end, Ursula dies and we notice the victory of good over evil!

One of the oldest Disney movies is Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs. It is a musical fantasy movie directed by David Hand, Perce Pearce, William Cottrell, Larry Morey, and more! The story tells us about a young and beautiful princess named Snow White. Her evil stepmother is envious of her beauty and commands her Huntsman to take Snow White into the woods and kill her. The Huntsman couldn’t kill Snow White and reveals the evil plot of her stepmother. Snow White, being alone in the woods, befriends a group of seven dwarfs. One day, the evil stepmother comes to the cottage and gives Snow White a cursed apple that can only be broken by “true love’s kiss”. Upon eating the apple, Snow White goes into a deep sleep. The dwarfs find various ways to wake Snow White. One lucky day, the prince appears and kisses Snow White. Surprisingly she wakes up and they both live happily ever after!

The story is one of the most well-known and earliest Disney stories. It is based on the story of Snow White by the Brothers Grimm. Snow White is a magical fairytale and tells us that jealousy is our worst enemy. It can turn a good person into an evil one. Being envious of someone’s beauty is only going to ruin you!

Tarzan is one of the most popular Disney movies of all time. It is a coming-of-age movie directed by Kevin Lima and Chris Buck. An orphan kid is adopted by Kala, a gorilla who names him Tarzan. Tarzan grows up in the forest along with his animal friends. Deprived of human interaction, he doesn’t learn how to speak. He faces a lot of discrimination in the forest because he doesn’t look like other gorillas. A group of researchers travel to the forest to learn more about the animals in Africa. A girl named Jane gets separated from her group and is rescued by Tarzan. He compares himself to Jane and learns that they are the same species. Before Jane leaves the forest, she asks Tarzan to accompany her to England. Although he refuses, Kala persuades him to go since he belongs to the human community and wants the best for him!

It is a very emotional movie with a lot of morals and messages. One learns that the love of a mother is incomparable. Kala adopted Tarzan but loved him immensely like he was her own. You can watch this movie on Disney+, by taking a subscription.

The story revolves around a hardworking girl named Tiana who dreams of opening her own restaurant. Her best friend Charlotte’s family hosts a masquerade ball. Charlotte asks Tiana to make beignets for extra income. Unfortunately, Tiana spills drinks over her gown and gets upset. Her best friend then lends her one of her princess gowns. Worried and anxious, Tiana stands on the balcony when a frog arrives. The frog is none other than Prince Naveen who intends to marry Charlotte but can’t because he has been cursed and transformed into a frog. He requests Tiana to kiss him so that he can gain his old self back. But things go downhill as Tiana kisses him and turns into a frog herself.
