But the most important question here is:  Who are they? What impact they have on Miyo and Kiyoka’s evolving relationship? Anyways, Miyo voiced by Reina Ueda, will maintain the emotional core of the story as she embarks on the next phase of life with the confidence of not being worthless in this supernatural world.

Meanwhile, Kiyoka, voiced by Kaito Ishikawa, remains the stoic yet close ally in Miyo’s life.

Why This Story of Love is Unforgettable

I personally love this story of understanding love in unexpected scenarios of life. This story defines that when we expect the least from life, unexpected things can happen anyhow. Let’s have a slight recap of the story of Season 1 by the press release of Yen Press- IS THIS MARRIAGE A BLESSING? OR A CURSE?

Born talentless to a noble family famous for their supernatural abilities, Miyo Saimori is forced into an existence of servitude by her abusive stepmother. When Miyo finally comes of marriageable age, though, her hopes of being whisked away to a better life crumble after she discovers her fiancé’s identity: Kiyoka Kudou, a commander apparently so cold and cruel that his previous would-be brides all fled within three days of their engagements. With no home to return to, Miyo resigns herself to her fate-and soon finds that her pale and beautiful husband-to-be is anything but the monster she expected. As they slowly open their hearts to each other, both realize the other may be their chance at finding true love and happiness.

What Can We Expect From the Storyline?

Season 2 confronts fans to maintain the same emotional richness from Season 1. This anime is for you if you love slow, intense character development in the story with the same core values. Season 1 ends when Miyo finds her supernatural power to see and interact with spirits.

Furthermore, fans can expect Miyo to heal from all the emotional scars- mistreatment and abuse from her stepmother: Kanoko Saimori; neglectance of father, Shou Saimori and his favoritism toward Kanoko’s daughter, Kaya, also allowing Kanoko, to mistreat Miyo for not having supernatural powers.

Will she finally confront her past, or will the shadows of her upbringing continue to haunt her?
