The latest addition to the game is scopes on shotguns, and players are totally confused why Epic Games decided to put them on shotguns. This feature, borrowed from straightforward combat simulators such as Call of Duty, just does not feel right.

According to the conception of using shotguns for close-quarter combat, this modification spoils it and makes the resulting weapon feel less proper and fun to use.
Community Backlash

Some even claim that if scopes must be there then they should be accessories, which may be included or eliminated based on the preferences of the players.

This can be a drawback if the game is too similar to other games one is used to playing, or if borrowing features from other games is taken to an extreme. Therefore, competitive features, borrowed from other titles such as Call of Duty, are worthless, and Fortnite should remain consistent in its approach and stick to innovations found within the game.
